Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD)

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD)IITD is located in South Delhi at Hauz Khas. It was established in 1961 and was inaugurated by the Minister of Scientific Research & Cultural Affairs. The campus is built over 325 acres of land and is surrounded by other reputed institutes such as JNU. Similar to IITB and IITM, IITD is also recognized as Institutes of National Importance in 1963. It has strict independent private entrance exam and all admissions are done on merit basis. The final year students from this deemed university receive offer letters from most of the top Multi-national companies across the globe. The campus is residential and has 13 hotels separate for men and women, huge playgrounds, swimming pool, and all academic infrastructures. Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IITGP)

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IITGP)IITGP was the first in its kind to be established after Indian independence. The foundation was laid in the year 1951 and it was the first institute which was recognized by the Institutes of National Importance by the Indian government. The aim of the foundation was to encourage and train the scientist and engineers of India to contribute towards the Country’s development and global recognition. This campus can accommodate around 22000 students and is built over 2100 acres of land. IITGP shares the same admission criteria as other IIT institutes and offers Bachelor, Masters, and Ph.D. courses. It is ranked 1 in India by NIRF ranking 2019. Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK)

Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK)IITK was founded in 1959 in association with US research institutes which was part of the Kanpur Indo-American Program. Initially, the campus was located in the premises of Harcourt Butler Technological Institute and was moved to grand trunk road in 1963. Computer science course was first offered by IITK in India. Until 1970 the institute was working closely with 9 American research institutes but stated independent operations from 1971. The campus is spread over 1000 acres of land and can accommodate over 7000 students. The Undergraduate admissions are on merit basis of entrance exam JEE and Postgraduate are through GATE and CAT. The campus is ranked at 283 according to QS World ranking 2019. It stood on rank 61st in Asia and 25th in BRICS. The global ranking is 501 – 600. It has six intensive academic departments which offer a wide range of courses.

University of Hyderabad (UoH)

University of Hyderabad (UoH)UoH is a public university aimed at research and development is located in the state of Telangana, Hyderabad. Incepted in 1974, this residential campus can accommodate over 5000 students. It has been honored as the Best Central University in 2015 by the Indian President. It offers post-graduate programs and Ph.D. programs. UH stands on 601-650 ranking according to the QS World Universities Rankings and took 11th rank in India. The academics include Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Arts & Communication. The high-tech and green campus is built on 2300 acres of land. There is a total of 21 hostels for men and women, four canteens, and four auditoriums. University of Delhi

University of DelhiLocally known as Delhi University (DU) is a public central university situated in New Delhi. It was established in 1922 with the approval of the Central Legislative Assembly. It started with 3 colleges and two faculties with approximately 750 students. With the time DU has grown exponentially and added 83 departments and 14 faculties. Currently, a total of 77 colleges and 5 institutes are affiliated with DU and the University Chancellor is the Vice-President of India. DU has 2 main campuses, South campus, and the north campus. The south campus is built over an area of 69 acres comprising various faculties, playgrounds, libraries, and much more. The north campus is 3 times bigger than the south campus and it is the first to be added in DU portfolio. DU has managed to be in the top 10 universities of India for decades. Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR)

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR)IITR is situated in Uttarakhand state and was founded in 1847, making it the oldest universities in Asia. It was founded under the British rule in India and after the independence, it was converted into IIT in 1949 and later in 2001 it was added to the IIT group and took the seventh place. IITR added 21 departments which cover all major courses of science and technology. The university won many awards for contributing to the country’s technological growth. IITR is ranked 381 according to the QS World University Rankings and took 86th rank in Asia and 47th rank in BRICS.
